Welcome to our delivery service to your ship!

As long as you are not allowed to leave your ship due to Corona- Protection we offer to deliver simcards, chocolates and cosmetics from our shop on board. If you want to see our product range please send an e-mail to
welcome@seemannsmission.org
and we send back a catalog as PDF copy.

After you can send us your orders to the mail address above. Please collect all crew orders in one e-mail!

Whether you are a seafarer or someone just looking for a room: The German Seafarer’s Mission is there to help you. You might want to relax for a few hours, need a room, would like someone to come aboard and visit your ship or have a problem and need someone to just listen. We are only a call or an email away. Telephone: 0471-43013, email: bremerhaven@seemannsmission.org. The container and car port terminal operators offer free shuttle service to the Seamen’s Club. From all other parts of the port you can use our bus service after 6.30 p.m.

Seamen’s Club WELCOME

After getting off the shuttle bus, your first stop will probably be the Seamen’s Club WELCOME. Come in and stay awhile. Have a drink, play some  pool, rent a bike (just leave a small deposit and you’ll be off) or  enjoy our outdoor recreation area. You can also exchange money here or at the Seamen’s Hotel. We are open daily from 3 – 10 p.m.

Seamen’s Hotel PORTSIDE

Going downtown? Or have you just gotten off a cruise ship: You might want to stop at the Seamen’s Hotel portside. It’s only a few minutes from the shopping area and other sights you might want to see. If you are getting on or off your ship, chances are your shipping agent may have booked a room here for you. Open daily 7 – 11 p.m.

Ship Visiting Service

No time to get off the ship? Our experienced ship visiting team will be glad to come onboard and help you in any way they can. They have time to listen! They can also give you any further information you may need about the Seamen’s Club or Hotel, sell you a sim-card or give you a newspaper in your native language. Money exchange is also possible.

Pastorate

We know that seafarers feel lonely and isolated sometimes. Spending six to nine months at sea can be challenging. Our port chaplain is there to listen to you. Don’t hesitate to contact him in times of need. We also make hospital visits and offer pastoral care in prison.
